Ready to Invest In Yourself?

Can you remember the last time you invested in yourself? Was it a month ago, a year ago, maybe longer?  Over the years I have worked with busy women in all walks of life. Women that work from home, women who work in corporate, entrepreneurs, business owners, and more. No matter what the work or home life is like quite a few women struggle to invest in themselves.

Women, more often than not, are willing to spend money on their family, friends, kids, and loved ones but when it comes time to spend money on themselves some struggle and feel guilty. For some reason, women can easily put everyone and everything else before themselves and their needs.  I am here to remind you to put yourself back THE LIST and stop waiting until you lose “x” pounds, are a size “y” or have “z” money. When you put yourself on the list you make yourself a priority.

One way to invest in yourself is to create a budget and set aside money for your wardrobe, coaching, trips, self care and more. It doesn’t matter if you work from home, go to an office, are an entrepreneur or if you’re in corporate, setting aside money for yourself can be life changing. No matter what your life looks like think of your wardrobe as an investment. When you create a budget and set aside money to invest in yourself you will find, more often than not, the guilt that comes with spending money on yourself goes away. It doesn’t matter how much you decide to invest in yourself…It can be ten dollars a month, two hundred a quarter, or more.  You have to do what works for you and it doesn’t matter whether you start big or small you just have to start.

Once you have a budget and are ready to invest in yourself and your wardrobe look for pieces that will work for more than one season (spring/summer or fall/winter), will go with more than three items in your closet, and that you will love and wear for a year or more. Think of wardrobe staples that you can wear and love throughout the year. You don’t have to spend a lot of money to have a great wardrobe. A great way to save money is to sign up for email lists, look for sales, coupons, and look for quality pieces that will last.

Investing in yourself can also mean making time for yourself. Making time to clean out your closet and let go of what’s not working for you. Making time to go shopping and look for pieces you love. Making time to find pieces that fit the body you have now so you look good, feel good, and walk about the door with confidence.

Are you ready to invest in yourself?
