Dear Debbie:
When I’m looking at my profile, I see a separate section called “Viewers of this profile also viewed.” What is that?
~Brittany U.
Thank you for your question, Brittany!
The “Viewers of this profile also viewed” is literally giving the person reading your profile a list of your competitors.
If you’ll notice, they’re all people who are in your same field.
Isn’t that amazing?
To make that section disappear (it’s great that they give you a way to do this!), follow these steps:
1. When you’re on your Home page, click your cursor on the tiny little picture of you up in the right-hand corner of your profile.
2. Click on “Settings and Privacy” from the drop-down menu.
3. Click on the top choice: “Account preferences”
4. Under Site preferences, go down to “Viewers of this profile also viewed” and click on the word “Change.”
5. Toggle the button that appears to “No.”
That section will no longer appear when someone reads your profile.
Hooray!
