Integrity

I wrote a long post about how a car salesman and a coach can behave in similar ways, selling you "the dream" while clearing out your bank account. No integrity and totally out of alignment. But... my rant doesn't serve you.

Here is what does.....

Integrity is a personal value. It shows up in relationships, business dealings, how you handle your money and more. It's whether you are being aligned to who you are, or not. Lack of integrity is driven by greed, narcissism, ego and self-centeredness.

How can you build integrity in your business?

  • Under promise and over deliver. Do not make promises you cannot keep.

  • Give credit where credit is due. That includes your team.

  • Be honest and authentic - in everything you say and do.

  • Establish expectations.

  • Just do it. Actions speak louder than words.

I know there are plenty of excellent coaches out there whose integrity is unwavering. Do your homework and due diligence before hiring anyone - not just reviewing their social media feed for their "celebrity" status update.

And by the way, once you drive that new car off the lot, you've just lost 9-11% of the value. With a coach out of alignment and integrity, that percentage loss will be even greater and much more painful. Just sayin…. xo
